My careers of Architect and Artist have spanned more than 35 years. Most of my training in art has been in Photography and later in Enamel and Collage. A few years into producing photographic images, I began to feel the need to break with the two-dimensional restrictions and began to add 3-D assemblage of cut and altered photographs, creating collage. Later found objects started to appear to help tell the story. Independent studies in myth and symbolism have informed my work. The latest enamel work has become very sculptural which is largely influenced by me architectural professional work. I have also been experimenting with fiber and fabric, a passion of mine, used in 3-D sculpture, collage and painting.
